Photos of America’s Best New Ballpark

By Mike Silva ~ September 6th, 2011. Filed under: Independent Baseball.

I promised photos of Provident Bank Park, which is dubbed “America’s Best New Ballpark” by the Rockland Boulders organization. As I said yesterday, this is probably the nicest minor league park I have seen to date. It’s picturesque, has character, and some unique amenities. I toured the ballpark before the Boulders took on the Newark Bears in the season finale. I picked out a few pictures that I thought you would give you a feel of the park.

The Boulders drew just under 3,000 fans a game this season. I predict good things for this club in the future as I see no reason why they can’t have a similar situation to the Long Island Ducks in Central Islip. Its a beautiful ballpark and the staff was first rate. I look forward to stopping by next season.

You can check out the Boulders official site here.
